Originally the center of a major citrus-growing region, Orlando is now an urban city with various industries. The area is a major tourist destination and is the home of the Universal Orlando Resort, and SeaWorld. Orlando is also about 21 miles Northeast of Lake Buena Vista, Florida, home of the Walt Disney World Resort. These attractions helped make Orlando the third most visited American city among travelers in the year 2007. Since the establishment of destination tourism in the 1970s, the local economy has diversified, and today the region is the center of operations for companies servicing Central Florida. Orlando is also home to the University of Central Florida, the largest university campus by student enrollment in the state of Florida and among the largest in the United States.

Winter Park is a city of about 28,486 residents located just north of Orlando in Orange County, Florida.  One of Florida’s finest cities, it is famous for its stately trees, abundant parks, brick-lined streets, spectacular homes, museums, vibrant lakes and fine shops along Park Avenue.
Chartered in 1887, the city was originally developed as a winter resort for wealthy Northerners seeking refuge from the harsh winters and a tranquil place to rest and relax.  Fortunately, the city has maintained its natural beauty throughout the years.

Windermere is a town in Orange County, Florida.  It was established in 1889 and has been the residence of professional golfer Tiger Woods since 1997 as well as other professional sports figures.  However, many celebrities such as Woods actually live in the Isleworth gated community subdivision which is outside the town limits of Windermere, but utilize the Windermere mailing address.  Windermere is also home to famous cyclists, the Windermere Roadies, led by Sir Manny Otero of Winter Garden.

Celebration, Florida is a planned community created by a real estate division of The Walt Disney Company.  The Walt Disney Company commissioned famous architects to create the master plan and to design the buildings. Founded in 1994, Celebration has the flavor of southern American villages from the 1930’s.  About 2,500 homes are clustered around a small, pedestrian-friendly shopping area.  Celebration, Florida is often cited as an example of New Urbanism, or neo-traditional town design.

In 2004, the Disney Company sold the 16-town center to Lexin Capital, a private real estate investment company.  However, Market Street still has the storybook atmosphere that some visitors call “Disney-esque.”  There is a Caribbean flavor to the buildings here.  Sided in brightly-colored stucco, the Market Street buildings have wide overhangs, shutters, verandas and arcades.Celebration has successfully combined education, health, community, technology and architecture into a community with a strong sense of self.

It is located in northwest Osceola County, Florida, south of U.S. 192 and adjacent to Interstate 4.  Celebration is a broad mix of residential offerings including condominiums and townhomes, as well as terrace, bungalow, garden, cottage, village, manor, and estate homes
